3 March 2022: The Director of Programmes and Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Trocaire, Finola Finnan, visited YONECO Head Office where she appreciated some of the interventions that are being implemented to enhance the rights and welfare of the youth, women and children.
During her visit, Finola Finnan who was also accompanied by Trocaire’s Head of Programmes – Blanca Blanco, toured YONECO ICT Centre, Zomba Safe Place for survivors of child abuse and GBV, Tithandizane Helpline Services call centre and its counselling block as well as YONECO FM studios.
Thereafter, the delegation had a dialogue session with YONECO programmes team on various issues pertaining to women empowerment, child protection as well as climate change and disaster management.
In his remarks, the Executive Director of YONECO applauded Trocaire for the support it provides towards women empowerment and child protection activities in Malawi.
